i must say that i have a whole new appreciation for joe nichols. he's the nicest guy in the world and he's so hilarious. i always dismissed him as some pretty boy product created by nashville, but he's the real deal! he's just a good 'ol boy from rogers, arkansas and ladies, he's charrrrrrming...(you ought to here him say, "come on over here sweetheart and take a picture with me" in that deep baritone soaked in honey...it's divine.) what's more? he plays a lot of merle haggard tunes in his set - a man after my own heart.
seriously go buy his new album, I CANNOT STOP LISTENIN' TO IT! I'm unbelievably impressed, minus the whole colt ford track, but i won't hold it against him. also, watch for the upcoming "gimme that girl" video...should be on CMT and GAC in a couple of weeks. look for the girl dancing around in her red cowboy boots :)
